Foyle DUP MLA Gary Middleton has urged individuals to be vigilant and to report suspicious exercise following a current Waterside break-in.
“Final night time, Thursday, September 23, there was a housebreaking at a home within the McClay Gardens space of the Waterside.
“This was an aggregated housebreaking with two males, wearing darkish clothes and armed with a suspected firearm and a baton, getting into the home at round 10.30pm.
“One of many intruders pushed the male occupant onto a chair and tied his wrists while the opposite compelled entry to a gun cupboard.
“If anybody has CCTV or dashcam footage from the realm on the time of the incident, please contact the PSNI on the non-emergency quantity 101, quoting reference quantity 2111 22/09/22
“I’d urge residents and residential homeowners to be vigilant and to report any suspicious exercise to the PSNI,” added Mr Middleton.
